ok so just bought 05 turbo rx8 running 12psi cobb access port stand alone fuel managment system well cel light just cam on p0125 trying to avoid going to dealer what is the risk an how to go bout fixing

The first thing i would change would be the coolant tempature sensor. Clean your mass air flow sensor and intake pipes as it can also be your air tempature sensor IAT which is built into your maf. That should do it.

i called one dealer and he said my motor could blow cause of temp sense is this true next woul it not read air temp sense instead its also hittin boost cut a 5k but i think its a crappy tune if one runs fine otherwise but rough on idle when started its running rich on my gauge

Any proper setup would have a real temp gauge, look into that. And question the integrity of the build considering the previous owner was ignorant enough not to install necessities in there blind venture to piece together an unreliable FI kit that you now get the pleasures of dealing with dauntingly tedious repairs due to previous owner extreme negligence.

it has full greddy setup but stock radiator im new to rx8s and now they run high temps but shouldnt it have aluminum radiator so watch all should i buy

no i used to live in Fort Myers i live in Charlotte NC now an i fount out the vacume hose came undone clamped it ran fine but still throwin temp code

^ That's not a Greddy kit.

Anthony, just replace your coolant temperature sensor, they are like $25.00. The Cobb is not a stand alone fuel management system and if you are running 12psi on a stock Greddy turbo then you need to stop. If everything is mechanically sound then get it tuned by a professional with experience tuning turbocharged RX-8's.

Buying a used turbocharged RX-8 is like marrying a stripper, it very rarely ends well.

Two reasons not to buy that car.
1.)The english in the eBay description
2.)The quality of the install of the gauges. The job they did there would make me wonder about the rest of the car.

2.5) Plus it's a used turbo like 9k said.

Isn't this the Turblown kit ? The hardlined coolant lines, engine wiring harness sleeve, and the entire thing looks like it.
