Ghost in the Radio
Ok ever since I got my car back from the dealer (they replaced my motor), I've been having this odd issue with my radio. At first I was thinking I was just hitting one of the buttons on the steering wheel by accident but I wasnt. I litteraly seen the station change to a random channel before my eyes today so here I am posting this up in hopes of getting some sence of what might be happening. Is my radio going? Did they (the dealership) mess something up when they put my engine in (unsure how but hey who knows right?).
Any thoughts theory's as always are welcome.

Zoom Zoom....
Just a thought and theory...
I've never had my engine changed, and I'm assuming that they wouldn't remove the radio or the steering wheel for it. So, let's start with the easiest.
I'd bet it is electrical; probably either a pinched wire in the engine compartment (look for damage to the wiring looms from their being bumped by the engine) or a grounding point not tightened up fully.
I'd check this anyway after major work.
Or, it's just coincidence.

Dude, wth! You jinxed me. Just the other day my car did the same thing x2. Jumped from 96.3 to 91.1 which is not even a station. Interesting to note it only happened on that station and it jumped to the same exact one.

The ever more electronics we have in our vehicles the more chance for spurious events, FM (frackin' magic), gremlins, whatever you want to call them.
Mine at the moment is a very intermittant activation of the passenger door ajar light. The passenger suicide door rubber booted switch appears fine and the dealer thinks it's rather a random sensor input glitch in the ECM. Months will go by without incident and then one morning ... Who knows.
