Front Brake Dragging?
So I recently changed all the brakes on the 8.
Everything went great and was working perfect until I got to the front driver side. (Left front) I was putting on the wheel and noticed that it was not spinning freely, it was so tight in fact that I was able to torque down my lugs with the rim in the air.
I took the wheel off, pulled the caliper off and brake pads out, inspected everything and put it back together thinking I might have made a mistake. Yet I ran into the same thing, the wheel would lock up upon tightening the lugs down.
I took it all apart again, removed the front pad and tried without that pad on there to see if the piston had seized or a related issue to the piston. Well when I did this and tightened down the lugs everything was fine, the wheel spun freely and had no issues..
So now I am completely puzzled. What do I do? The pad is the right part, I checked and double checked the numbers. It fits perfect and the rotor will spin freely until I tighten down the wheel with the front pad on.
Anyone have any advice?
