Dayum. But that still doesn't explain how you overheated at 50mph. The fans turn off when moving.

Probably what happened was since the fans were blowing out and air from the forward motion was pulling inward, not enough air was going into the engine...maybe.

Did you read my previous post? The fans turn off when the car is moving. There is no way the fans were working when you were doing 50mph. Unless you used the FAL fan control kit.

I don't have a fan control kit and so far, since changing the fans to pull, it hasn't over heated even while going more faster than 50 mph. I don't get it either?
