Unhappy A few vibrations and questions

So, my 2007 RX8 is almost out of warranty, and I just had a few questions about a couple of issues I've been experiencing.

This is my first manual car, so I'm not too sure if its the norm or not, but my shifter or whatever vibrates alot when im sitting there and idling, so much so that even if i try to hold it still with my hand, i can feel it vibrating.
This vibration is not so much vibrating a large distance, but vibrating at a very fast rate. I know its hooked up to the transmission etc and gets warm due to that on most RX8s, but I was just wondering if the vibration is normal, and not due to cracked engine mounts or something of that nature.

2nd, about 50% of the time, when I throw the car into reverse, and then try to gas it, it grinds because the shift did not catch or something like that, but when I took it to mazda south in austin tx, the dealership said it was natural for all manual cars to have that problem
i would understand if this problem happened maybe once a month, but it happens at like 3 or 4 times a day, regardless of the temperature outside or usage of the car. After throwing the car back into neutral or into 1st, and then shifting back into reverse, it occurs again about 10% of time, and the other 90% of the time, after putting it into a different gear, the next time i put it in reverse, it will finally engage.

3rd, I have had a question about vibrations in the dash panel. whenever i drive over a bumpy road or play music with strong strong bass on high volumes, the dash will create a creaking sound, and the dash panel or whatever it is that contains the 3 circles for your dash can be moved a few cm either way with very light force from my hand, so I was wondering if that is something I should fix myself, live with, or bring to the dealership before my warranty ends in 5 days from now. After consulation with a few friends, they said to live with it or fix it myself, because the dealership will muck it up more if they try.
Anyone with experience with that?

4th, in the glove compartment, i changed out the cabin air filter myself, but somehow, i cannot reconnect the little plastic slower thingy.. (technical) on the glove compartment to the car.
for lack of a better term, now my glove compartment just comes out quickly when i open it because this plastic arm is not connected on the right side of the glove compartment. I cannot for the life of me reconnect it. any tips on reconnecting it? or is it attached on, and I just broke it

5th, during light accleration, i hear a whistling sound from the engine compartment, however, when i step on the gas just a bit more, the sound will disappear, it feels like its something with the injectors? when i put more gas in, it just goes away. does anyone have any clue? i asked about this problem earlier, and some people suggested it was the air filter up front, but i took it out and put it back in again to ensure the engine air filter was fine, and even replaced it. also, it doesnt seem like that would be the reason why only at certain pressures on my accerlator there would be a light light whistling sound

6th, what do you guys do about the middle compartment thing sliding to cover the cup holder during middle to heavy braking? or is that something that would be covered by warranty and that i should get checked up

and ill think of more things to ask, but i think this is a mouthful already

i like my rx8 that i bought used, but i have to admit, this car has had the least build quality of any car i have owned or driven for an extended period of time

my toyota camry, previa, and ford expedition have been leaps and bounds better interiors and no creaks or whistling sounds at all, although, they are boring to drive, its the small things that irrate the person who drives the car everyday imo, and i think theres a reason why mazda cannot compete with other japanese car brands, because of their shoddy QA control

i guess the rx8 scene is kinda dying and moving to the new generation of rx8s

but if anyone has any ideas for me before my warranty goes and ends next week, it would be great

thanks!

1. Shifter vibration. Have to see this issue in person to be able to tell if its Engine mount or its the normal vibration. Cuz seriously the shifter will vibrate a bit. but if its too much, There might be Engine mount/tranny problem, or the PPF is not aligned correct (if the transmission has been down before)

2. Are you sure you "push it" into the reverse correctly? If you dont you get the grind, but if you're 100% positive that you pushed it all the way in, felt that "click/lock in" sound, but when u give gas the gear pops out and grinds, you have a problem.

3. My dash is 100% secure, move a few cm? thats a lot. something might be loose ?most likely Dealershipp will tell you "its normal.", take it apart and fix it yourself, its pretty easy (a bit time consuming, thats all)

4. You broke the lever, that tiny little circle is easy as hell to break. So you need to buy a new one, I forgot the part number for it, if you need it I can look it up for you.

5. whistiling sound? not sure what you mean by that, is it like "some shooomo shoom" sound?

6. The middle cover piece its pretty easy to break. You Might be able to get it under bumper to bumper warranty. it really depends on the dealership. You can do some cheap fix yourself with Krazy glue.

Keep in mind that you got the car used, and god knows what the last owner did to the car.

I got mine brand new.I dont have any of the problems you had, Im happy.

Yep, pretty much sounds normal including the whistling.

Get the center counsole fixed and have the dash checked out as those two are not normal.
