felt like power loss...
Okay so... My car doing 70mph started jolting woulndt pick up speed just stalled! All gages stayed the same it all seemed normal but that.. It did it twice within 2hrs apart has not done it since... I brought it to mazda got a test done and it says there is nothing wrong.. It has not done it again so I'm so lost why would it just randomly do that and nothing be wrong... Any ideas??

yeah they did the test at mazda the test came back with nothing, when I was driveing it right after I left I down shifted hit 70mph and the air bag light came on started flashing now is on... The coolant light flashed at me const when lower gear the coolant is full... And the car is still haveing the same issue... Mazda can't find nothing but they told me that my after market greddy exaust could be and issue. How? Idk what's going on with it!

IT is NOT your Greddy exhaust - that is a total cop out on their part .
The coolant light coming on is a known rx8 fault and relates to the switch in the header tank . They should replace the tank for you if it is still under warranty .
The air bag thing - no idea on that one
The loss of power - still think it could be fuel pump overheating . If that is it , it is a very hard problem to replicate for them because it can be intermittent .
Suggest that to them and see what they say

Okay I will... They just keep blameing it on all my aftermarket stuff which I figured was a load of bs.. Also when my car is at and idol or when I get n2 it at high rpms the exaust has the raddle kinda sound like something is loose I ask mazda and they said that there is nothing loose that its aftermarket and its going to do that.. I have had it for over a year and that just started...

I had a similar problem last summer when i bought my rx8, After 3 months i would be on the highway 6 and when i would throw it in neural to coast to the light it would diie by the time i fully stopped and i woudnt even realize it. Though it would start up a minute or so later . I borught it to mazda and they coulsnt figure anything out. So i took it home and a week later the same thing so i brought it back , again they couldnt find the problem , since then i havnt had this problem but i also put her away for winter so i guess well see this summer.

Yeah evetytime I go 2 mazda that's the first thing they point out is all my mods... And that's automaticly the issue... No... But I am trying to figure out the raddle comeing from my exaust when at and idol or when I get on the gas... I ask them about it but once again they said its aftermarket it will do that u can't fix it go back stock.... I have had it 4 over a year and it just started that recently so....

This sounds to be either:
- Bad electrical connection / condition in the ignition system. Coils, Poor grounds, corroded battery terminals, loose terminals, and more all contribute to the cause.
- Bad catalytic converter. Although the power loss should be more gradual than your case, this is always a possibility as well.
Why don't you reset the ECU and your fuel trims. That way you can see if the problem returns or if it was a hiccup.

Doing this on the highway causes the car to go into limp mode.
There have been a few threads discussing this.
Also it is very hard on the brakes. Keep it in gear when you stop.

Good news extreamly easy to replace yourself and I have found the pump online new for bettween 150 and 250. Back seat driver side lifts up and there is the fuel pump accsess panel just lifts right out There is a post with full pics and instructions on how to good luck
