Every single dash light on

Hello
hopefully someone can help me
i replaced the APV motor in my 04 rx8
after putting everything together, my car will start for 10 seconds and dies
when the car is turn on all the lights in my dashboard are on
power steering
CEL
Colant
seat belt
Hand break
even the yellow light thats tell you when ur fuel is low

EVERY SINGLE LIGHT

plus the gages dont respond

I asked a mechanic what can i do and he said i had to reprogram the computer
and makes sense since i did not disconnect the battery while I did all the work

any ideas on how to fix it
or has anybody else has had this problem before?

Umm...

Sounds like an electrical fault. I think a couple phases got crossed on your APV motor. Hopefully your ECU is intact or you will end up paying much more than it would have cost to have someone knowledgeable work on your car. Might be a good time to check exhaust bearings and blinker fluid.

LOL.....there is no way he crossed anything...the plug will only go on one way

Need to check the wiring and fuses...I would disconnect the battery and see what happens when you reboot it

What else did you have apart??

Well i dont remember messing with any electrical wires
There were sensors MAF etc i did took off the entire intake
An a whole bunch of hoses but thats it
