I'm inquiring about a noise I heard from my car. It happens when I'm excelerating and started recently. The car is sluggish to accelerate makes a rattling noise like rolling dice and then pops with a quick jolt when it finally increases in speed. No lights noises or sensors are going off. I can't tell if it's an engine mount or not.... and the car is shaking from time to time during idle. Not good. I'm strapped for cash and would like to get some feedback before shelling out to take it in, but know that driving on it is a bad idea. Also any recommendations for LA mechanics that actually know this car and won't rip me off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
