A few electrical issues with the 8 after winter hibernation this season. All symptoms may be related to the root cause.

- At low speeds (0-10 mph) using significant steering for almost lock to lock, the car would die on me. It comes back to life if I'm quick to stop steering input, otherwise I have to crank it again. This is intermittent, but frequency of occurrence is increasing.

- One occasion, I flashed my high beams (with low beam and fogs on), my dash lit up momentarily. Yes, all warning lights.

- The issues are seemingly electrical. When the car does die completely, upon restart the TSC/DSC light would flash during the first start up as if I had a dead battery.

- I could use a battery replacement. 3-4 years old, and it was left completely dead then recharged many times (more than I could remember). Not sure if this would contribute to the issues.

Any ideas?

I would start by load testing (not just a voltage test) the battery and checking the connections at the battery and at the fuse box. I know from experience, battery issues, battery terminal issues, and alternator issues can cause all sorts of weird **** to happen.

new battery. ..clean terminals. ..should be all good 😊
