FL Dead battery now power issues

I have a 2004 that was issued 04/04 with all the recalls completed. I have been searching the forums looking for similar issues but haven't found anything that looks like my problem.

I noticed a hesitant start when picking up my daughter from school, the next day my battery was dead. I jump'd it off and went to Advanced Auto Parts to get a battery. I also noticed a decline in power when accelerating but thought it was do to the battery being dead and running off the alternator.

In their tests everything tested fine except the battery so I replaced it. Now every time I try to start it, its kind of hesitant but does turn over. I also noticed the power during acceleration is way down from where it use to be prior to the battery being dead. I have had the terminals cleaned and made sure the battery is strapped down well but the problem still persists. Any idea on what I should do next?

Got it. My DSC was on, turned it back off and the torque was back to normal. LOL
