Thumbs up Car Back in the Shop...

Most of you know I have had major issues with my tranny and clutch. It's been broke down for 130+ days since I've owned it. Mazda declined coverage in mid-October so I've been without my car. I got a chance to talk to the rep today.
Finally, after 2 months with my car broke down in my driveway, it's finally going back in the shop. The clutch will be replaced and should be ready soon. Thanks for everyone's support.

Just noticed this... but you know it's bad when you have a Thumbs Up next to: "Car back in the Shop..."

I never thought I'd see someone so elated to have their car in the shop! It's the small victories in life that matter Slims8, always see the upside because the bottomside is well, the bottomside.

What's your rental situation? You must be getting pretty familiar with your rental if they gave you one.

Yes, they are paying for it.

As far as rentals go... I've had 3 so far, but I didn't get one this time. I'll be out of town all week so if it isn't fixed by the time I get back I'll see about one.

My car being back in the shop is a major relief. Too long without the car...

Congratulations. Good to hear that Mazda stepped up to the plate over an issue that appears to be clearly covered by your warranty.

She's back! It feels like the day I bought it. It hasn't felt like this since Aug. 9th! I believe the clutch was damaged when the tranny went out the first time and it wasn't discovered. Oh well... she's back and as good as ever.

You know, that might have been funny the first time out of the shop, but this is number 4! :D

Oh believe me, she'll be treated properly. I don't want to lose 'er again.

I really can't believe how much different the clutch and transmission feel when shifting than it did before. It's unreal.

Yeah, it feels like I just bought a new car. I forgot how to turn the windshield wipers on and I've owned it since May!
