hey i am replacing the spark plug wires and realized that one of the black wires, will not fit the right side leading. So I had to take off the wire, but in doing so I broke the coil. I pulled that top part right off, and lost the screws and spring everywhere in the car. Anyways, my question is, a week ago the dealer replaced 2 coils with new ones because 2 were bad. (i was just going to replace them all).
Can I use one of the coils that the dealer gave me in replacement? Its a brand new coil, its a bit different looking on the bottom (like different color from a different brand) but essentially is new and looks the same. Is it dangerous to the car to do so?

There is technically a Revision A and Revision B difference out there. The Revision B is slightly "better" (although no one can actually tell how), but there is no harm from running Revision A. You are likely seeing a difference between the two revisions, since dealers do sometimes still hand out A's.
Ok cool. I just wanted to make sure its ok to use different brands.
3 of them are this brand called "intermotors", and then the 1 that broke I replaced it with a new 1 the dealer gave me. I am not sure the brand because it just has the part number. I guess that means it's mazda's oem one. I just wanted to make sure that 1 wont be causing a misfire or something.
