I am told by Dumb and Dumber dealership that my P0661 Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Control Circuit Low Bank 1 code is due to a dodgy SSV. Could that also cause a
P2259 Secondary Air Injection System Control B Circuit Low which I got a couple of times - sorry for the dumb question but up against time here.

But the meat of the matter is that the Beast got taken in because it had a massive misfire and they are claiming that BOTH "rear coils" are dead.

These are built-to-survive-the-Sahara BHR coils. What would kill two of them at the same time?

Sorry to be a pain sure there is info somewhere.

Have to go down to the dealership AGAIN!

Sorry to dispute that comment, but they are just coils and susceptible to failure just like anything else. That said the only way to know for sure is to test them.

Thanks for that I am just surprised that two would go at the same time. Is there some sort of flash over that could cause that? I am just so suspicious of the quality of work done by this dealership.

Haha! I was on the way out of the door and looking for input. OK Charles now you are here... I have been singing your praises for ages so can u return a favor: What would cause two coils to go at the same time?

Secondly looked on the BHR site and cannot see any way of buying JUST replacement coils. These are less than two years old and do not want to have to buy a whole ignition set.
