Axxess Aswc Solution
Ok, so I had a pac-swi or w/e and I couldn't stand the lag. So I bought the axxess aswc and it didn't work like its supposed to. I later updated it with the axxess cable, but same symptoms.
Symptoms: When it auto programed, only two buttons would work, and they don't do what they're supposed to do. The next button would change modes and the mode button would skip tracks.
When I manually program, I got the same results. After installing a new HU and hooking up the axxes unit, the stereo did not respond to any input at all.
Solution: After buying a new aswc, I replaced the cable labeled "LD-SWC-F3.5". Afterwords the HU began responding to commands and I was able to program the device and enjoy my new head unit with its now functional steering wheel controls.
