Assistance in Identifying Metallic Noise

So i got my 8 recently and haven't had much time to drive it as it has been in the garage with some issues, mainly clutch issues and such, which have been resolved. Now that i have been able to get some quality time with her i have noticed a metallic banging towards my rear passenger side whenever going over uneven roads, hitting bumps, etc. i originally thought it was tools or something in my trunk, but i emptied my trunk and it remains. it almost sounds like a metal bar or something hitting the car, aside from that its kind of difficult to explain. Anybody experience anything like this or have ideas where to start in identifying the problem

It is probably a sway bar end link or something loose but guessing won't help you, you need to get it in the air and have a look.

The internet age is great and all, but asking somebody to try and guess what it is on a forum is never going to replace getting out there and physically start inspecting, pushing, pulling, etc. trying to figure out what it is in person.

9k thank you for the point in a direction, Team, i had it in the air the other day and didnt see anything obviously wrong , albeit it wasnt in the air for suspention and metallic clunking. I intend to be under it again soon, but i work third shift ( it is currently going on 4am) and i figured i would make this thread for some guidance before i hop back under it tomorrow to see whats wrong. please do not confuse this thread for laziness or avoiding my own work. This car has cost me around 3,000 usd before its second car payment. i love the thing but i am starting to become slightly obsessed over trying to get it back into top shape and running without issues and at 0345 EST, on the clock at work, i am limited on my ability to shake, pull, and inspect my vehicle. This was the most constructive thing i could think to do at the moment, in hopes that somebody has had some similar problems and had a direction for me to check first.

over the last few days I have had a little free time. turns out my spring on my rear passenger side was broken. grinded off the broken rung from around the spring and took it off to stop the noise, going to grab a used one from a junk yard a little ways from here and throw that on (its only like 40 bucks) until I have money to do a complete suspension replacement (shocks and springs car round)
