Aftermarket Radiator Fitment Issue

I purchased this radiator: 40mm 2 Row Aluminum Radiator for Mazda 2004 2008 RX 8 RX8 1 3L MT 2005 2006 2007 | eBay

After I removed my OEM radiator and fan unit, I can see that the fan unit does not match up very well with the new radiator.

When I match up the bottom part, the holes on top are off as you can see in the pictures. There are also gaps on either side. I've been following this DIY: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-...h-same-116729/ and I think I can address the gaps on the sides but I need help with the holes up top.

Also, as you can see in the pictures, even the bottom part has a little fitment issue. Do I need to purchase a different fan unit? What are my options?

Thanks

If it were me, I would just send it back and get the correct unit. You can try to modify your fan shroud to match up with the holes (mount and screws). I don't recommend trying to modify the radiator itself.

Unless you have a TIG...I would send it back as well....if the rest of it is put together as well as it fits it will likely leak

Return it. It's obvious u bought some cheapest crap, u get what u paid for.

It's so funny ppl always try to get cheapest crap, then ask why it doesn't work.

For $14 more, you could have bought one that fits perfectly from Mazmart, a forum vendor with outstanding customer service.
