08 RX8 Misfiring

Hi everyone, after quite a bit of researching and my own troubleshooting I'm having a misfiring problem with my 08 rx8 manual trans. I'll go over what i have done already and what has been done by the dealership and the dealers opinion. Ok, i have replaced spark plugs, i was running bhr coils, i swapped them off with brand new factory coils (no change) new plug wires, cleaned the maf and removed and cleaned the ess and cleared the memory for it. Now it has also been to a mazda dealership twice this year, once in april and again in early august. Both times it has been there the compression has past. (I kept the paperwork and the compression numbers from both visits) The first visit the compression numbers were 8.5 - 8.6 across the board. The second visit there were one or two that were up in the 9's. The first time was for a compression test only, the second time i had them dig into it to see if they could figure out what was wrong. (rotor one had/has 36 misfire counts second router had 6) They kept saying it was the coils, which i find hard to believe because at that point they were only 2 days old. So there next hunch was i have a bad fuel injector, which i considered until they were going to charge me 2800 bucks to do it. The only things i can think of that i haven done is check the cat and the fuel injectors. With that said what are the odds its a clogged cat or bad injector? So if anyone could provide some insight on something i may have missed or could do still (apart from the cat and the injectors, the injectors i feel are probably above my skill level and the cat i could do if i could get it high enough off the ground.) that would be greatly appreciated. I'll point out its only at idle, and its barely noticeable, if you have music up and turned up a bit its hard to differentiate it from the bass (which i have at 0)
Thanks in advanced everyone!

08 RX8 Misfiring

Have you read the sticky "suffering from a misfire"? A few options still require troubleshooting.
And have you tested your plugs and coils? It's not unheard of that they're defective from the factory...

I have read that post multiple times. The misfiring was happening before the new plugs and coils, and plug lines. they didnt make a change. i cleaned the maf and ess after. I was hoping to get opinions on what it could be. However i can reread the post again if need be.
