Sensor on rear sway bar?

I had the rear wheels off yesterday and noticed what appears to be a sensor mounted to one of the suspension members and connected to the rear sway bar by a short solid link. Anyone know what this sensor is/does?

I have a 6spd with sport package (TCS/DSC).

Light sensor...

You must have the HID headlights.

It is the horizontal alignment sensor for the headlight positioning motor, checks how heavily loaded the suspension is.
I believe it is not an 'active' reading, it just does a quick check on startup.

Are you looking at the sensor on the left side "a" arm? If so, it is for ride height measurement - part of auto leveling H/L.
