Seafoam questions

I am new to the seafoam world. I read the bottle, read some how to's on here but I still have some questions. First my problem: I am hoping and praying my stalling, loss of power sometimes, and rough idle, and miac is due to carbon build up. I also have suspisions of my SSV sticking which may be causing some of the problems mentioned too. SO which method should i use? Also, I am currently using it in my gas tank, figured it wouldn't hurt and maybe clean my fuel system as well as clean as i drive. If the suggestion is to do another method, is it ok to still be using it in my tank when im doing the other method and start it back up? or is it to much ?

well i gotta say so far so good. I haven't done it the "normal way" yet cuz its been trying to rain/sprinkle all day but 2 days of running it thru the fuel system and I am gaining some power back, no miac yet, smoother and higher idle, no dying after leaving the interstate and having the AC on.

Actually, yeah, that does answer his question -- you have a Series 1 (S1) RX8 (2004-2008), not a series 2 (S2) RX8 (2009+). You mistakenly posted in an S2 forum, thus the confusion.
