RX-8 Air Conditioning Problems Please help

OK, so I have searched the forum for a while now and haven't found anything usefull so I decided to just make my own thread. I have a 2004 RX-8 GT with about 85,000 miles on it, I noticed my a/c wasn't as cold a few weeks ago and then things started getting wierd. the a/c would go from cold to very hot, then last week it started to only come out cold on the passenger side air vents, and as of yesturday I get nothing but hot air out of all the vents. I live in FL and really need to get this taken care of, does anyone have any ideas what it could be, or has anyone had similar problems? Any help would be appreciated, I never had a/c go out on any of the vehicles I have owned so I don't really know where to start. I have a 1991 miata with 180,000 miles on it that blows colder then the RX-8 ever did....

Could be the **** module, or the actual A/C system has leaked, or the control unit isn't working......

If you don't have screens the condenser may have picked up a rock??

Lot"s of choices

it could be the **** but I have a feeling its the HVAC control going bad.

I had mine replaced one just because of that. (under warranty)

Well I guess you might want to ask Mazmart to see if they have any used parts on it. cuz this part alone if u buy new gonna cost you a few hundred bucks.

but yeah if u never have the screen installed, it could be a rock that took your AC condenser to the heaven.

OK... so I just got back from my buddies shop, he hooked it up to his a/c machine and found that it was very low on freon.... He filled it up and put a dye in it to see if it has a leak, the air is blowing cold out of all vents now, colder then it has in a long time, we will see if there is a leak, I am not sure what "screens" people are talking about so I don't really know what to look for there...

One thing you don't want to do is make nycgps sigh. Your skating on thin ice.
