I have a 2003 Rx8 import from Japan (with only 700k on the clock) to New Zealand, I'm after some type of tool that I could check/fix/ clear cel, pcm, etc, prob's. I used a link on this site to AutoEnginuity, and was very happy when I got a E-mail from them in less than 10 min's.
BUT the E-mail said-- "I seriously doubt if it would work. We know the JDM cars rarely work with OBDII products. "
A look at other types of computers (using links on rx8 club) I found that these seem to be all OBD type products .
Does any one know what and where I could get some type of canscan/obdscan type Automotive Computer that will work on a JDM RX8.
