My Rx8 on a Dynojet
Hey guys did several runs on my 8 on a dynojet, figured I'd post the results.
Engine - Mazda reman with 12k miles
Mods:
AEM cold air intake
Exedy hyper single clutch & 15 lb lightweight flywheel
Series 2 transmission with series 1 diff (4.44)
Gutted cat OEM midpipe
Raceroots 3 inch exhaust
Cobb AP running stock map with lowered fan temp, increased OMP rates, idle... (minor details)
Everything else on the engine is stock.
Plugs and coils are stock, and relatively new with low mileage.
Maintenance -
Oil - 0w40 Mobil 1 synthetic
Premix - Kawasaki FD rated
Results
Highest run was a 201 RWHP & 139 TQ, average of all the runs was about 197 WHP & 138 torque.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it looks like my reman turned out to be a good one.
