Mazda dealers plug a device called DWS to the connector of the car (situated below the steering wheel).

Aparently the DWS is a computer with a dedicated sotfware.

Does someone have the software of the DWS system to share.

It would be very helpful to gather a lot of information from the PCM of the car and know more...

It's WDS. Do a search for that and you will find gobs of info. As I understand it, this is a Mazda service department device and I doubt if the S/W is available to the general public. There are other devices that are available to the public that can read from the PCM. Do a search for CANSCAN.

I talked to someone a while back about purchasing the WDS for Mazdas. Let's just say it's best if you get the CANSCAN tool.

WDS is definitely not available to the general public. It's a Mazda proprietary tool.

and damn if it isnt expensive as hell if you are able to get one. but realty is if you dont work for a Ford or a Ford affiliated dealer (mazda/ jag etc) then you can not buy one or the software.

for now anyway
