Hid bulb problem

i drive a 2004 rx8 GT 6 speed. i bought replacement oem hid bulbs low beam to put on my car but they look nothing like the ones my car has on. my bulbs have 2 sockets attached to it, 1 male 1 female. it also has 2 wires that go connected somewhere inside the headlight lamp, 1 red and 1 black.

does anyone else have an rx8 like this and can tell me where i can find replacement bulbs?

im thinking the previous owner converted it to HID. how in the world am i gonna know where he got them from? i shoulduve has took a picture of the socket that i need smdh. maybe tomorrow.

i would really appreciate the help. thanks

Use the VIN checker up in the header under tools to see if your car is HID equipped.

thanks for the help hoosier. turns out my car has "Halogen headlights w/projector low beams" so obviously the hids it has are aftermarket. hopefully i can uninstall them back to halogen.
