Yeah, and buy one of those magnets you attach to the fuel line to align the atoms.

I'd pay $2000 today for one of these "chips" if they gaurantee a 275 hp dyno pull.

hang on, HANG on... that's just rediculous.

a chip, eh?? suppose that the RENESIS could in fact breathe at a higher rpm, and it could make 130lbft way, way up there (which it can't).

350 * 5252 / 135 = 13 616.3 rpm sh'yeah, right.

alright, well, what about every American's favourite metric, torque??

surmise that right near fuel cutoff (a supposed 9300rpm) that max torque is hit:

350 * 5252 / 9300 = 197.66lbft *snicker* oh yeah, that's sooo possible.

the next time you talk to that guy, call him an effin' moron.

Yves, just play along and ask him about the details and where you can get it, pretend you wanted to put some money down for it and such etc etc. After you get details, slam him with the Math Equations and maybe some proof from Mazda themselves. Afterwards, tell him to give you a REALLY REALLY nice discount or you are reporting his name to the Mazda head office for attempted fraud. HA ! :D
