HELP! Removing Stock Exhaust Pipes off the Stock Muffler Canister
I need help guys, I cannot seem to remove the exhaust pipe that fits from the cat to the muffler section of the exhaust system. It seems to be stuck or welded. I removed the clamp on it and its still stuck! Anyone know how to remove it, I had a really strong person attempt it with 3 other people and still no luck WTF MAZDA!

the service manual states that the middle pipe is not intended to come off after being fitted to the muffler. If you take it loose they will never seal to each other again. While Mazda sells them separately, they recommend replacing both pieces if either one is needed. It's easier to ship them separately.
If you're trying to make a different exhaust using the middle pipe you're better off buying a new one unless you don't have any intention of using the OE muffler can again. Then you might as well just cut it off above the joint because that connection is a slip joint for 60mm OD tube and doesn't mate up to the typical US tube sizes anyways.
