REVi= check engine light
watup guys to make a long story short, about two weeks ago i got a new transmission and clutch covered under warranty.
Yesterday my friend and i installed the REVi intake, everything was cool, nice sound, a little faster at the high end.
Today at about 8 pm, i was leaving my girls house, i turn on the car and the light goes on. Has anyone had this happen after installing the REVi, anyone have any idea what this might be. Could it be the REVi, the new transmission or a combination of both.
I did leave one wire disconnected, but i dont think this one had to be plugged back in right??, could it be something with the sensor.
The fuel is full and the cap is on good. Anyone have any advice on some things i may try before resorting to the dealer. Thanks alot.

The VFAD electrical connector is left unplugged so no worries there.
When you said the cap was on tight where you referring to the fuel cap or the little red plastic cap that goes where the hose was removed? You might want to make sure that is on tight?
Maybe also clean the MAF/IAT sensor using the suggestions recently posted in the Tech Garage (do a search).

You may want to just try clearing the KAM and NVRAM. Forgot which was for which, but basically do the brake stomp test, and the other test that involves turning the car to On while holding down the odometer button until you see TEST show up. You may be able to clear the CEL that way...and if it comes back after doing that, then I'd worry about the hardware. I had a CEL show up just for unplugging and plugging some stuff while changing my front lights to LEDs, and doing the memory clears cleared it up.

thanks alot guys, immaa try these things out. And yeahl i was talking about the fuel cap. Oh, and i dont know if this has anything to with it, but the vibration of the shifter kinda came back a little. It was almost completely gone after the REVi install.
