Help me out with a part number please

hello again. I brought my 8 in today to get some service done on the clutch/transmission because of difficult shifting and clutch pedal sticking to the floor twice. well i got the report back and its says they had to order a special part. maybe someone here can explain to me further what the part is(tech didnt speak english to well). FP number: F151-41-92XB Description: Release CY. thanks again for the help

Its the Slave Cylinder.

wow that was quick. would that not make the clutch dissengage fully

Could be.

but most dealerships are loaded with fuxking morons so I cant say for sure.

Last Friday I went to dealership to try to get my solenoid CEL fix(its in my other thread)

I also told them to do a clutch TSB that has something to do with the Clutch cut switch (cuz its making noise whenever I step on it). showed them the TSB print outs. they said sure We'll do it.

Next minute they went to order parts for throwout bearing, pliot bearing and front tranny oil seal. Something thats totally unrelated ...

its terrible how bad they are. its actually the third time ive brought the car in for the same problem. they finally ordered a part so hopefully its the last time i need to bring it in. thanks again for the help

swoope, i brought that tsb to them when i went there. i didnt even notice the part number on there when i looked at it. one more question. is the slave cylinder the part under the clutch/brake fluid resevoir??

the slave it the part that depresses the clutch.. it is not attatched directly to the clutch / brake area.. it is attatched to the bellhouseing i think.. it is at the end of the line that goes down toward the trans.
