Help discuss what Mid-Pipe this is

It doesn't exactly look like a midpipe. The front piece looks like it has a heat shield on it, making that a catalytic converter. I would like to see a higher res picture with a couple of different angles. Maybe one looking into the front to see if there is a honeycomb present.

I think what he was trying to get at was his opinion, you asked and he answered. A few more pictures would help, but either way it looks cheap and doesn't look like a mid pipe to me either.

^^ I would agree. I recently bought one, not installed yet, that looks just like it.
If there's no cat strata, it's probably been gutted.
Note the heat burned the galvanized coating on the resonator.

Coming from a guy who ask what type of mid pipe is this? Then had more than one person tell him it looks more like a cat. Then you respond with it is a mid pipe a dual resonated one... Then anothe person says it a magnaflow cat just for you to turn around and say oh yeah it is a gutted cat I just call it a mid pipe.
