Once the two screws are removed and wire harness disconnected... you pull it out!

ha ha ha.................well, there is a first time for everything I guess.

Might be worth saying at this point.....be careful and don't mess up the "o-ring" seal when doing so.

...and since you look mechanically impaired pay attention to the very thin wires that the MAF is made of. It's easy to break them with improper cleaning.

^Yeah... maybe we should cover all the basics.
Sometimes we forget that many don't know even the simplest things until they do it.

Here is a pic of the MAF being removed after the two screws are removed and wiring harness disconnect:

Read this on how to clean the MAF and how to tell where its located within the housing:

Thanks... had to do something to the car during the winter months
Currently applying the clear coat to the ring that holds the filter in, then it'll be done.

You don't have to disconnect the wire harnes if you use a Q tip and alcohol or towels with your electrical cleaner.

I wouldnt touch the sensor with anything but MAF cleaner. you dont want to bend any thin wires.

Since nobody said it, do not screw it back in very tight. Get the screws maybe a little over hand tight but not by much, its very very easy to strip the plastic threads.

You asked about removing he maf sensor and then said you don't know how to get the actual sensor off. If you meant the wiring attached to it then you should have just said that.

Try being a little nicer to people that your asking for help from. You pinch the end the wires are coming out from in the middle and pull.
