Mazda Rotary Oil is the best IMO.

Afterall, it's designed specifically for our rotary engine.

I use Quaker State 5w-20 and would suggest against the use of additives/treatments. We call those "motor honey" because of the clinging nature of them. Not good for an engine with oil injection. Besides, the lubrication system on the rotary is good without additives. Do a search on this topic as it has been discussed ad nauseum around here.

If you wanted to you could add additional lubrication via PREMIX:

The above link has a good~shorter discussion on this.

Charles is correct, I would not add anything to the oil directly either. I use valvoline 5W-20.

You'll find that any major national brand of 5W20 will be just fine - such as Castrol, Pennzoil, Valvoline, Havoline, etc. I've been using Pennzoil 5W20. There have been several threads posted on this very subject - which a quick search will reveal.
