Clutch replaced, now misfires?
So, my clutch died, $1000 later I get my car back. Now when I take off in 1st gear, I'm getting misfires (blinking CEL). What could be causing that or is it just a coincidence?

Flashing CEL is a misfire. The clutch shouldn't have anything to do with that, but if the mechanic had pulled the spark plug wires out while soing the clutch, he could have forgotten to plug one back in or plugged them in out of order.
Otherwise it could be coincidence. The most common cause of misfires are dead ignition coils, and this will kill your engine if not looked after. How old is the car and how old are the coils?

Be sure the front O2 sensor harness did not become pinched between the engine and the bellhousing upon reinstallation of the transmission, as it is common for the harness to sneak between the two when shoving the trans back in place. Look for pinches or damage as either one can cause the issue you mention.

Really odd, wife was driving the car and the clutch acted up. She pumped it and it was fine after. Haven't had a misfire since. Not really sure what the issue was. I'll keep an eye on it the next few days.
