ok...couldn't find it posted elswhere....so I'm finding out about all these wonderful problems with my 8, brakes, reflash, airbag, etc....and I discover several of the TSBs have gone out well before I take delivery of this thing. Supposed to have been adressed the bullitins say. Cant find any authorized modification stickers anywhere that correspond to the stickers theese bullitins say I'm supposed to have if the repairs have been performed. Only one I have is under the from lip of the hood dated 7/19/03 (took delivery 10/04) the "campaign code" is 9999-95-PORW-01....which fix is this? Cant find it among the TSBs Am I just stoopid? Not looking in the right place? Do you folks have this one?

I think that would only be the ecu reflash code under the hood.

All the other tsbs you will not see any sticker just the actual service/part fixed. Because these aren't safety concerns but mostly cosmetic and nuisance, Mazda would be wasting money to fix every repair for every car especially when half of the people don't complain about squeaky brakes or a cycling air conditioner nor are there problems on all cars. Don't work from tsbs to your car. Notice the problems first then check out the tsbs. Some aren't even fixes but instructions to guide the techs.

Best route is to have your dealer check the revision level of the PCM rather than rely upon "stickers." (My dealer provided the printout from the PCM verifying the revision level of PCM) According to another thread, although the TSB's mention placing the stickers on under the hood, some techs don't do it and many dealers ran out of the stickers months ago.

Other than "reflashes" to the "M" level and the mandatory airbag recall, the previous advice is good. Look for problems on your car and then arm yourself with the TSB information from the Rosenthal website when you see your dealer.

BTW, you should NOT assume that a dealer would have carried out the PCM (ECU) reflash for vehicles on their lot. My car (which had been sitting at a dealer for some time before being transferred to the dealer from whom I bought it) had not had the reflash.
