Burning smell right after AC Amp replaced

Just had my ac amplifier replaced. Last night it was pretty cold out. We had the heater running. Then, I smelled a burning smell. I knew it was coming from my car when we got out in the garage. The burning smell was strong. Anyone else experience this when they got ther AC amplifier replaced?

No smells that I recall after I had my AC amp replaced. Did they do any other work to your car on the same visit like maybe spill some oil during an oil change?

Got it done today...didn't notice any burning smell. Freaking cold compared to before though.

Duh, So i took it in. They said a large garbage bag stuck onto my (Borla) exhaust. It was burning and melting adhering itself even more. Cost me $38 labor and materials for them to clean it off. I was dumbfounded when they told me. Thanks for all the replies, guys.
