Argh.......cracked windshield
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a cracked windshield.
This was not caused by a rock or any other foreign object introducing itself rudely to the glass. No, the crack justed appeared.
I live in CA, so this is the first time that I had to use my defroster and viola a cracked windshield.
Going to the dealer tomorrow.

Speaking from experience, a small crack in the windshield can become huge when you turn on the defroster. I had the same experience on another car of mine.
Count yourself lucky, some poor sap with an RX-8 in the garage at my apartments has a huge smash in his passenger side. Hate to know how that happened

I just noticed a very fine line crack emanting from the top of the windshield, just a little to the left of the mirror mount. Is this the pattern? Are any dealers agreeing to pay for fixing it?
