My 04 rx8 ac control have the glitch that makes it go from cold air to hot air, i do not have the skills to fix it myself so i wanna buy another. I found an 05 rx8 ac control. can i just switch them out?

It's all the same as we don't have automatic climate controls in the states.

My **** starting doing this too.. Is so HoTttt in Florida .. Is their a fix or do I just buy another one . I've searched and searched no luck :-(

You're not alone, I've found that if you turn the **** towards the middle and back to cold it will return cold air....annoying to deal with when you're driving..but small fix until you can get a new one or DIY (which I am searching for results currently)

The DIY simply has you re-solder the 3 connections to the potentiometer that the temperature **** is connected to. The rest of it is how to get the panel loose. Many of us have had to do it and it will save you $400 (new part) if you can do it your self.
