my rx8 has only 32k & the coolant ligth is showing some times .comes & goes.
the coolant level is fine ,no heating. everything looks normal.exept I went to the dealer & they toll me is the coolan sensor & will cost $500 to replaced. any advise what to do???
Thanks to every one of your recommandations. I allready unplug sensor couse I hate the ligth.
I check coolant & oil level every 3 0r 4 weeks part of rx8 fun lol. I only drive my 8 on weekends
for work I drive my little mx5 .

Unless it was a leftover bought during the '07 or later model year, it's probably beyond the four years. My '06's B-B expired in July.
The solution is to pull the plug and just check coolant the old fashioned way: look at the tank every now and then. Lots more convenient than the old-old fashioned way, which was to take the radiator cap off every now and then and look in the top tank.

Is that $500 with tax lol? Its really just plug & play... I think this is what they are talking about?

ty i really thinking to do that. couse pay 500 just couse of ligth is to much.
& you are right they told me warranty is expired couse of time.

Just be VERY CAREFUL when removing the hose that goes to the Nipple on the top of the radiator!!! It can snap off the radiator and then you will have to replace the radiator. This happened to my brother on his 05 and I have seen other people post this also... GL
