midpipe o2 sensor cel
thinking of getting a BHR midpipe for my rebuild to go along with my turboxs catback and headers. Im wondering if anyone has come up with a way to trick the ECU so i dont get a MIL (CEL, the yellow light etc...) im the kind of person that gets annoyed by dash lights but i dont want a cat anymore.....any ideas?

The only certain way to avoid having a P0420 or P0139 using hardware is to have a cat. People talk about putting a spark plug anti fouler in but they don't really work on our cars. Sure, they get rid of the P0420 but they cause a P0139.
The only certain way to do it without having a cat is to use MazdaEdit, Versatuner or a Cobb Accessport to mask the code. Basically, makes the ECU ignore it.

Well, the only cats that are proven to last are the HJS ones, but they cost a lot of money.
Either way, I'd make sure to read the codes once in a while if you just "deal with it". Don't just get used to the CEL and ignore an upcoming issue.

Yeah that's one of my top concerns I wouldn't know if there's a secondary problem but I have multiple scanners so it's wouldn't be difficult for me to check as regular maintenance
