04 Rx8 Revival Build (Pics inside)
Hey guys this thread is about bringing my 8 back life. I was going to sell the car and cut my losses but after driving a couple 8's including an ls1 powered 8 in eastern NC this past weekend. I fell in love with it so she will be under going surgery. Hopefully back on the road by spring.
She needs:
* An engine, which will be rebuilt by myself. Yes I know this is possibly the most expensive route I could take but I've never built a Rotary and want to give it a shot and if I **** up then oh well I'll learn from it. I've read and reread through all of the warnings and am still willing to take the chance. I took part in a 12a build which was an experience but comparing it to my renesis there are some big differences, I've also got in contact with Jason Feighner from Atkins Rotary and he agreed to lend a helping hand. I've bought the engine adapter, dial indicator w/ magnetic base, flywheel tool and shop manual but am still missing a step-meter and v-blocks. Wish me luck lol.

* Radiator, Mine is no good... I've been looking around and know to stay away from mishimoto. BHR had a radiator but can't find it on there website also has anyone used a Godspeed 2 row radiator in there 8 I've searched but no info found on the forum.

*Tires Either going with Continental DWS or Bridgestone Potenza RE760's. Not much to say on that.
*Suspension Tien S-techs just looking for a lower ride.
*Brakes Stoptech slotted rotors and hawk pads.
Other then that I'll be getting an RB guage pod, glowshift Oil temp, Oil pressure and Water temp guages and HKS Hi Power single exhaust.
Since today is my last day off I though I'd get something done haha.
