i just bought a $60 boot from shift style for my AT and i hope its gonna fit right the thing i am worried about is the plastic ring around the top of the boot that holds it up there. i think these rings come on MTs and my AT dosent have one that i know of or does it? can anyone help me out?

interesting... post pics if you're successful installing it... even the shifter diameter is different on the AT.. hence why you can't just buy an MT ****.
I imagine you're going to have to do something with the shifter guide... not sure if that's even replacable... it's been a while since I've had my console apart.

Lol yeah im gonna be at the State Meet... and of course there is a DFW crew that is gonna drive down, we did it last year... someone else has asked the same question on the official State meet thread I believe, or maybe prepare thread... not exactly sure but go check it out. A DFW local posted where we normally meet to drive out for the State Meet...

BAM! ^^me too man, 8's are already pretty unique so its cool to have one custom to you. I just finished up w/ my offset plate.
im prob gonna get a boot from a guy in DFW, im waiting a response but hopefully he'll be at the DFW meet for pick up.
im getting the stock 6spd shift boot, so we'll see how that works.
