i just bought a $60 boot from shift style for my AT and i hope its gonna fit right the thing i am worried about is the plastic ring around the top of the boot that holds it up there. i think these rings come on MTs and my AT dosent have one that i know of or does it? can anyone help me out?

interesting... post pics if you're successful installing it... even the shifter diameter is different on the AT.. hence why you can't just buy an MT ****.

I imagine you're going to have to do something with the shifter guide... not sure if that's even replacable... it's been a while since I've had my console apart.
