How old is the battery?
Does it crank real slow?
Does it click at all before it turns over and starts?
Does the starter just spin?
Does the starter just click?
Does the starter grind when you try and start the car?
Is this the original starter?
If you don't know did you ask a Mazda dealer for the history on the car? Per VIN#

M/T starters are bigger than AT ones (and more expensive I think)

Incorrect. The starter/solenoid are the same between the 2 models. The way the starters bolt to the bell housing is the differance. The A/T starter is a little more expensive usually, depending where you go.

To the OP.
My starter cranks way slower than yours in the vid. New batt, or old charged batt, same diffrence. So i'm sure my windings are shot.
but it will start every time after 5 sec.
