Problem on upshift with paddle shifter
Sometimes it doesn't work. The regular shifter works fine, but the left upshift paddle shifter only works about 50% of the time. Any thoughts?
Thanks

And the one on the right works fine? If/When you get no response from the left one, have you tried pressing down harder to see if it triggers it? It may just be crappin out on you but I've never heard of people having that problem. If it's still under warranty take it to the dealer

I have had occasional problems like this in my 04 4AT but on the right side paddle only. I notice it especially on the 1-2 shift when timing of the shift is critical and short. The left paddle and the stick both work just fine. I've got 38,000 miles on it but more than 4 years old so that part of the warranty is over.

Join the club, my paddle shifters work - sporadically. And of course when I took it to the dealership 2 years ago they told me they couldn't duplicate the issue, so screw it sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. Oh well.
