Nope. Here is how its going to fit with the 3.5" DP( obviously it won't rest on the manifold). Even enough room to make a lower intake manifold heat shield. I did remove the OMP however.

thats a nice manifold, hmm no omp O_O though ive seen that done many times, i dont think i could remove it and depend on premix only.

going full custom exhaust? being that even the turbo xs is only 3".

very sick. What you doing about heat? I know with mine on the bottom the engine bay is hella hot with just the Greddy. I couldn't imagine it just chilling in the engine bay.

Well there won't be a cast ductile iron heat sink!
I have seen mine glow red on the dyno. Oh man that was something to watch.

As for heat control, the turob will have a really robust blanket on it. I'm not going to say much right now on the rest of the other heat control devices.

Turblown is looking at a few different options.

Not much. My builder decided to get married for some weird reason. He spoke some word like "love" and whatnot. :-)

No way around it unless you want to build an exhaust manifold with a lot more bends or cheating. It will all be heat-shielded.

Damn this looks SICK Dave!!!

I kind of figured you were going to have to toss the OMP to fit a 3.5" DP. Did you guys plug the oil metering jet holes in the housings?

I've known many RX-7 owners who run no OMP, in fact I think AZRR recommends it, so premix is no biggie, just don't forget it!

We haven't done that yet. In fact didn't even think about it.
So thanks for the idea.
