heat issue, Feedback needed

I posted in the past about this problem before suggesting an oil to water cooler. I have cup warmers during every season except winter. Before this problem happened I was stationed in Hawaii and I never had heat issues. I want to run some ideas by you guys. 04 AT 125k
I speculated a lot, first thinking it was the catalytic converter. I also had a cat efficiency light on and decided to dump the cat and get a cobb app but I still had the heat issue. I turned my head on the auto transmission next and ran an oil cooler in front of the radiator and I still had the same hot trans tunnel. At this point I had surgery on my rotator cuff which gave me quite a bit of time to hang around and think.
The trans tunnel heat always happens after 1-2 hours of driving with no traffic and happens much quicker if there is traffic. The change in my cup holder gets really hot and one time I burned my hand on the passenger seat front mounting stud because it was so hot. Now this winter after driving about 3 hours I noticed that the front of the tunnel close to the engine bay was getting hot first. I also noticed the heat from the gear indicator bulb and almost thought I had cup warmers in the winter but touched the change and realized it was just the bulb.
After fooling around with many things, I'm starting to point my finger in the direction of the single oil cooler.
path #1 $515.03 - Replace oil cooler with oem cooler and maybe upgrade to RB lines ($800.13 with RB lines).

Path #2 $646.46- Go with a single aftermarket cooler for now. I generated a parts list and I was wondering if 8an would be enough? I looked up the actual sizes and it seems like it’s about right for the openings on the feed and return at the engine. The problem with path #2 is that It will be very hard for me to custom fit an oil cooler in the condition I’m in now. Also I will be doing it outside in the snow. If I decide to go aftermarket route I'd like to do a write up.
Posted a rough parts list as an attachment
Thoughts, ideas, feedback please!
Thank you!
