MA Greddy Turbo AT 04

I read some where on the forums here that Turboing an AT Car is bad so says Greddy. Is this true? Or does it not matter? I can turbo it if I want. I really want to, but if it's bad for AT then I miners well pay it off and then trade it in for an 06 MT right?

Or, is turboing an AT not bad but i need to install something else new?

There are alot of factors in this question.
1. how many miles on your engine?
2. how are your plugs, coils, and wires?
3. how is your compression?
Many other questions to answered, especially with an 04. The AT has nothing to do with it, it is a question of whether the engine can handle the boost, not the trans.

MA

Well, I did just bring back to Mazda for a new Wheel Alignment. (Damn potholes in MA.) and they checked my engine and such and they said they never saw a perfect working 04 Engine. They check it cause I ask them too, especially with all these recalls I hear with the 04 Models.

btw, my car just hit 49,0030 miles.

A turbo AT will be about as fast as a 6MT but a lot more hassle . A 6MT would make more sense if you are thinking that way ....
