damn why dont you just use the Twin Turbo system from the 13b-rew from the rx-7?

**I've always wanted to say that**

ok man. the next time you see Twin Turbo for rx-8, just forget that you ever saw it. If this was actually usable on our cars, It would be a disaster, unless you can find a rocket scientist to program an entire ecu that can make those turbos sequeintal

Yeah, about the fire and blowing motor thing. That's under the assumption he does his manifolds and tubing out of PVC.

They're meant for heated gases, aren't they?

This is the second time I've seen you say that and now I'm really not sure if you're joking or not. Regardless, for the benefit of all others, it's false.

Ok how about this. Would you pay someone to run the universal kit on their 8, just to see what will happen for sure. You may never know it...just might work. LOL. But I won't do it.

^ The problem is that is not an RX8 kit. Nothing about those parts is Rx8 specific. Its just a collection of the cheapest, lowest quality parts you can find on Ebay. You'd still have to make or have made the main components of the turbo setup and the cost of that would raise the price such that you would have been better off buying a Greddy kit in the first place.

There are only a few of us that have put together our own kits and fewer still that have managed to actually save money over a real kit. Usually its just a "See if you can" kinda thing. If you have to pay a shop to do ANY of the fabrication work your money saving plan goes out the window.

Twin Turbo kit?

I'd like to get one of these kits, what else did you have you buy, exhaust manifold, ecu tune, cooling, etc.

A twin turbo RX-8 would be awesome however I'd have some reservations putting a turbo kit in my car that isn't really proven. Let someone else be the guinea pig for that one.
