I was learning how to display text and control the LEDs. I got brave and compiled and loaded a sample program that was supposed to show CAN rx and rx message counts. I plugged it into the car and it died. Just glad it was the board that died and not the other way around. I felt like a little kid who just broke his favorite new toy The board maker is looking into it but these were one-offs for the show. I'll probably be better off using Arduino as my platform. But this thing served its purpose in getting me excited...

The plan is to make many torks and horsepowers.
Going half bridge with a few other tweaks that will hopefully make a big difference .

If only lol. I was all set to do some testing today and my car started acting up just highway cruising on the way to the office. Load was spiking up to 257% plus, airflow was all over. I pulled the MAF sensor plug when I got to the office and one of the pins had broken off!!! Put a new sensor in but now have to start back at 0psi to dial it in... ugh...

The lowest pin in the pic is actually laying on the table at the bottom of the pic...

Back in the saddle. Decided to go yellow spring next instead of black and yellow... but so happy to have decent boost back!!!

Resisting the urge to reply with something NSFW so I'll just say... she feels great!!!

Just got back from a 325 mile road trip, a little over 1000 miles since rebuild. Vacuum is now pretty consistently -21in/Hg. Perhaps the sustained 4K RPM helped finish the break-in. Got the 7lb spring in and it hits 7psi pretty spot on. Still running too rich in boost, but I'll get it dialed in. Got to wash her now, lots of bugs all over the front, blech...

Yup, I found that it had positive effects on getting my AFR where I want during quick shifts. Also, one less bit of plumbing to futz with.

Some stats from my road trip. It was a bit hilly in areas.

Depart 160.9 miles 8.963 gallons 17.951 mpg 77F ambient 195F coolant
Return 169.8 miles 9.263 gallons 18.330 mpg 90F ambient 200F coolant
Total 329.8 miles 18.226 gallons 18.095 mpg

This was with the A/C on during the trip.

EDIT: average speed was 75mph
