Ya ya I know

Finally got out to the strip tonight. First run ever I did 13.66. Second best was 13.831. I had a really hard time getting the street tires to hook up, lots of wheel spin. It was my first time ever so with some practice and better tires I think I can do better

Ya, helmet required for faster than 14 seconds. Faster than 13 requires a roll cage.

That's funny... sub13 sec. requires a cage.
Usually you have to be sub 9.99 for a cage... it's pricey for a cage.
You sure about that?
If so that's pretty strict!

My bad, roll cage required for 11.49:

General Tech
- IHRA tech rules apply
- Helmets required for 13.99 and faster
SN 95 or newer mandatory on all entries running 13.99 (8.59 1/8th mile) or
quicker. Entries running 14.00 (8.60 1/8th mile) & slower, helmet is recommended) IHRA Rules page 63

- Roll bar for 10.99 and faster
- Roll Cage for 11:49 and faster

Here's the latest log I took. Peak boost was 14-15PSI. This is as high as I dare go until I get W/M installed

LOL ya power and Internet finally came back on last night after being out for 7 days, almost to the hour. We got a generator last Thursday but trying to hotspot Internet off our phones when everyone else in the hood is doing at the same time was brutally slow!

Yes drag strip for sure! But they are closed for winter now. Just got our first snow yesterday actually. Strip opens back up in April I believe. My goal is to get into the 12's. High or low I don't care at this point, just sub-13 seconds. I have a few modifications in the works to help with that...

Yeah mid to high 12's would be great. Especially since that is only as low as the REW and LS swap guys have gotten.

Our track went bankrupt but was recently bought and opened back up. Hopefully I can make it out there the weekend after my dyno/tuning session.

Ya! That would be sweet! I had a blast. I really enjoyed autocross as well, but that was a full day or weekend commitment where drag racing is a Friday night, come and go as you please...
