Replacement SS Greddy turbo manifold option.

PFABRICATIONS.COM has said if they can get a Greddy manifold from someone they can make a jig to produce a replacement out of SS, like the one they make for the S2000. Mine has not cracked yet so its still mounted. But if anyone has one they can let them use temporarily it would help out the Greddy turbo community. They can even make it with a different flange so we can have more turbo options.

After futher review of the Greddy kit and the spacing available in the engine we have decided to not take on this project until we have an actual chassis and kit in our hands to test fit and ensure fitment. I apologize I could not help at this time.

Yeah I got the same response today. I don't know why they would need an RX-8 if they have a manifold. I think it's a nice way of saying "**** off".

Not only would they have to have the same flange locations, but they would have to follow the same profile of the Greddy Manifold to ensure fitment.

What someone needs to do is do what they are suggesting. Build a manifold as a Greddy replacement with the same flange locations, but with the car on hand to check clearances of the routing of the tubing. Making a SS Tube manifold within the same profile and contours of the Greddy manifold would be a pain in the ***.

Exactly. There was a pic on here of one that MM had slagged together. It wasn't pretty.

Offering it with a modified motor mount that provides more clearance would help a lot

Team do you know anyone that would do it without me having to sell my RX-8 to pay for it?

The design of the Greddy Manifold is actually pretty good, they just crack and getting anew one is next to impossible, I have called a couple of Authorized Greddy dealers. I am just looking for a steel replacement manifold, exactly like what Pfabrications does with the S2000 Greddy manifold repleacement.

Have one cast in stainless. Casting is surprisingly cheap. Im sure there are a few foundries around there.

They can cast it identical then you just have to have the flanges surfaced.

Yeah I thought about that and looked around but could not find any place that could do it.
