Nice, bought the kit from Arrowhead I am guessing? We will have to compare notes when our FI install's start.

Someone besides SKC needs to get one of these bad boys up and running. Let me know if you want all of the documentation I have collected from Mark so far. It looks like we are on our own for revamping the oiling system but its just a matter of finding the correct fittings.

Congrats on the beautiful kit!

Haha I knew someone would pick it out! Revamp? Since this was one of the first 3 kits made I have the original engine fed system and the kit sent to do the block offs. I also got with automotive plus for the dog-bone spaces that SKC discovered, $20 parts, $40 shipping!! My biggest concern is tuning at this point.

Nice.... I could not get a hold of danny. If you want I can help out with some of that shipping and pay for a second one.

sure, I tell ya what, since i already have an invoice, ill just ask for two then sell one to ya. I am also going to ask for a block off plate for the oil return on the supercharger, I don't want to just use a rubber cap, So I'll see if he can get a whole new aluminum plate to replace the return bung.

That would be Great! How do you plan on tacking your tuning and what are your planed supporting mods?

It is my plan to do a custom tune with a cobb, my injector set up will be stock with blues in the p2 position with all injectors port flowed and matched the best I can. My tune will be much different then yours with my ported motor.

that will not be enough gas Hoss. I am running stock injectors except the p2's are uncapped matched yellows with a flow rate of over 600 ( on oem FP) and I am at 91% duty cycle on an unported engine. I have a nice hp output--but you should have more

you can uncap any of the injectors. But srapy pattern etc ends up being changed.
what you can do is to get the S2 greens for the primary, and uncapped yellows in the p1 and p2 position?
I am curious about the boost a pump too. I do like what I see, but I havent tried it.

I wasn't planning on changing the injectors at first, but OD has me thinking otherwise. During disassembly to take parts to the powdercoater I noticed that the machining of parts wasn't quite to my expectations, so I'm going to port and polish the UIM, supercharger hot side, and dog=bone pieces.

In the meantime:
Shon OMP Adapter
New NRG oil catch can (Weapon R one was pissing me off)
Silicone hoses and clamps from BHR (on their way)
Stainless fittings
Need to figure some way to make my AEM work
Already have BHR coils and full RB exhaust

I had a bunch of oil leaks when my car got on the dyno. Danny then had to overhaul the supercharger kit to fix these. Most of the leaks where centered around the shaft that drives the pulley.

He found some of the seals needed replacing.

Unfortunately Danny is really busy with his engineering business to even look at working on his car so it would be a while before he can assist.
Having said this, these issues where noticed on may kit and it does not mean that you will have teh same problem.

I think going to a closed oil system should solve those types of problems, being able to use a thicker gear oil that is not pressurized should cut down on leaks

My car was tuned using HKS Fcon. These guys know how to tune rotaries and they have done a very good job. the car has not had an easy life since installation as I tend to drive the car very hard and generally red line at almost every take off. It also went well at its first track day within days of being installed.

I think any tuner who knows rotaries and uses software that he uses on a daily basis should be able to do the job. The same tuners struggled with Protuner as they where not familar with the platform which led to problems on Danny's car.

I have to take my car back to the tuners and get some of the kinks sorted and it will be brilliant.

Im referring to the engineering of the oil system, not the tuning. Although I'm going to try plumbing the bypass from the UIM, should get rid of the flutter (I hope)

Using a closed lube should solve the oil leak problem and keep the gears quiet.

Good luck with resolving the bypass valve issue.

Im going to use an input for the UIM, where vacuum wont fluctuate with the opening and closing of the valve. If that doesn't solve it completely Ill take the spring out too. If that doesn't work, need to figure out an external system.

P1: Stick to the OEM Reds or pick up a set of Series 2 Greens
These injectors are designed to be in that position and from what I understand have a better spray pattern.

P2(Inner Positions) and Secondaries(Outer Positions):
I would personally stick to using the same injectors in all four, just because these injectors use the same latency table.
Go with Uncapped Yellows from KG Parts. You could also go with Blue injectors from the AT or Brown Injectors from the Series 2.

I'm thinking I'm going to go with Greens in the P1 and uncapped yellows(Only $25 per Injector through KG Parts) in the P2 and Secondaries for my build.
